If you are told your unit needs replaced and the technician didn't test or try a couple different solutions, then you have a salesman standing in your living room not a Service Technician. We will try all possible solutions to get you back up and running.

Many homeowners will get a big, unexpected estimate to replace a part under warranty that requires refrigerant which isn't covered by a parts warranty. We don't not charge crazy prices on refrigerant. Our most expensive type is $125 a pound 

The turbo run caps are great, we do install them (Not at a crazy markup) but we usually will install a standard run cap which is more cost effective and works well. 

I will never recommend replacing a unit that is under 10 years old. You can still get replacement parts usually at that age and most units that are registered by the contractor or homeowner have a 10-year standard parts warranty. If not registered it has a 5 year standard warranty. We work on 20 plus year old equipment regularly that is still going strong.  

Oversized Systems cool rooms too quickly, constantly cycling on and off before properly dehumidifying your home.

This creates uncomfortable, clammy air and premature wear on your equipment.

 Some companies will offer a service plan and usually find something that "went wrong". We have seen a few times where the company before us manipulated the system, for example putting a screw in the coil to cause a leak so then the client has to pay for a replacement and expensive refrigerant...
